A word of advice to businesses— ignore this at your peril! My Nana would have been a great contributor for this book. She knew all the public bathrooms within a 30 mile radius and would avoid certain restaurants and businesses because of their sub standard facilities.
Think of all the mums with kids, the aging boomers, the increased number of people of both genders with diabetes for whom finding a comfort station quickly and efficiently is important.
I read a charming saying in an old book about the measure of a gentleman being not how he treated the lady of the house, but in how he treated the chamber maid. Same holds true for loos -the front of the house in a restaurant or retail business could be spot on, but if there are lousy loos you wonder at the cleanliness of the kitchen and the other bits you can't see!
